A Gratitude Attitude Creates Prosperity

Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

Gratitude and the whole overwhelming emotion of being grateful for all each of has is a popular theme at this time of year. The barrels come out at the grocery stores for food donations, the snail mail multiplies with corncopiarequests from non profits, Facebook pages are dotted with appeals from a variety of sources,..there is no shortage of places who need and appreciate the help they need to function and expand the good they do for the people they serve.

Our real estate practice is a little...maybe a lot, different from many both in the ways we choose to market our husiness and in how we continue to foster the business thru our past clients. We work with interestingestates, divorces, homeowners upsizing and downsizing...just starting out and some starting over...the communities and price ranges vary widely. The variety is a conscious effort. It's what keeps life interesting !

Recently we had three clients in the same hour shift to crisis mode for things that required immediate "mechanical attention". Our practice is not always about listing and buying...,it is sometimes about sourcing the updates, finding the contractor to repair and replace and our clients have come to rely on us for these services. We were glad we were able to offer solutions/contractors to solve the issues with the immediacy that was required.

We have done our marketing give back practice on a smaller level in the past and as the requests for a variety of updates and repairs/replacements has grown we are expanding this service as well.

To show our attitude of gratitude to our reliable sources, we meet with gratitudeeach of them individually and learn more about their business. What are their marketing goals. obstacles...how can they improve their service and expand their business.  We come back with written suggestions for ideas we have to grow their business.  We had a contractor invite us to lunch recently as she was so pleased with a referral we had given her...and the referral very pleased with her product/service as well. We are now showing the contractor and an emploiyee new homes and meeting with a group of which she is a member to talk about real estate opportunities in the area.  What began as a referral...blossoms Get giveinto benefits for both the "Giver and the Getter" as roles are reversed.

Show your contractors, service suppliers, lenders, title and legal sources "a little gratitude love" and you may be surprised at how this "thanks giving" becomes ...thanks for getting !  You don't give to get...we believe it is the natural order of the Universe. It may not be from the same source or in the same way...but know that positive prospers positive...find ways to be exactly that...and you will find that you have multiplied all the good for which you are thankful every day.

This has been an atttiude of gratitude post which for everyone, should know no season, from Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Broker Associates with EXP Realty, honored to be of service for all things real estate in southeastern Wisconsin.

I don't know about the prosperity angle, but a lack of gratitude might be one of the universal sins.

Finding a buyer can be the easy part, it is getting it to close and solving those issues as you discuss that can be harder. I love the good attitude and willingness to always do what is needed

Hi Sally K. & David L. Hanson,

I couldn't agree more with your post.  I treat all my service people with the respect they deserve and I take care of them.

This is most notable during the hunting season. My vendors will find a way to accommodate me and it does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Hi Sally and David- your kindness doesn't surprise me!  We rely on suppliers, contractors, and vendors. Taking that extra step to show them just how much is not just a good thing to do but you just never know what it will bring.

In my experience, the most satisfying acts of giving are those with no expectations of getting anything in return. Yet, Karma never seems to fail.

Sally and David like you said the motivation to give should not be to get, however, many times we end up receiving more than we give.
