Stillwater Estates is a gorgeous community with mature landscaping and some mountain views. Stillwater is located in the northern section of Kalispell to the west of Route 93 and north of West Reserve. The entrance to the property is via Walton Drive. The community is close to Kalispell's shopping area (Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's and more) as well as the Flathead Community College and Kalispell Regional Healthcare. And it's only about 15 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport.
Stillwater Estates was approved in three different phases. In total, the community includes 128 homes on East and West Bowman Drives, Walton Drive, Essex Place, Sperry Way, Logan Way, Kinta Way and Grizzly Way. In addition to the homes, the property's 115 acres includes 6 acres of park space.
The homes in the development have approximately two-thirds to three-quarters an acre of land, although a few are over an acre in size. Homes are typically ranch style and are large in size (4 to 7 bedrooms with 3,000 square feet or more). In 2019 prices range from $450-700K, depending on size and amenities.
The development has an HOA and Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions (CCRs). The CCRs cover the parking of boats and trailers, hedge and shrub planting, fencing, pets and of course the buildings and garages themselves. For example, some of the regulations indicate that lots cannot be subdivided, homes must include at least 1,800 square feet with a two car garage, fences cannot be higher than 6' and only two cats, dogs or small household pets are allowed.
