What is your favourite?

Last night I attended the Delaware Antiques Show and saw many fabulous items, below are some of my favourites, not all were crazy prices but you would need a significant wallet to pick all of these up, so which is your favourite?

Blue HeronBelieve it or  not this is carved from wood, and was beautiful. I always see Blue Herons, and have decided they are my "Spirit Animal", this is a fantastic example of carving, especially all those flared feathers.

FishThe same dealer had this large fish, never seen one so big and the face is even smiling. I can see this hanging on a wall just about anywhere, but especially say in AZ.

Butter pot

This was a very large, 3 gallon stoneware butter tub. Great painting and a wonderful example.

Dutch DelftLove this Dutch Delft vase, decorated in Japanese Imari style and form. I sold several like this in my past life to Japanese collectors.

PaintingLove this painting, the crispness of the detail mixed with the impressionist style of the leaveson the tree, delightful.

TableThis table is English from the 18th century and is delightful with very delicate cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Wonderful patina as well and a great piece.

Copper and brassOn the more affordable side, some great copper and brass pieces, the shapes and forms are wonderful.

PunchMaybe my favourite item of the evening, loved this figure of Punch.

ChestThis chest is mid century but love the juxtaposition with the older pieces around it. Fits in perfectly.

Famille Rose VaseProbably one of the best famille rose Chinese vases from the early 18th century I have seen

So what is your favourite?

So many great things!  I really like the look of the jester, such a cool piece that would make a great decoration.

My favorite, Nick, is the painting. But the Delft isn't too shabby either. I have quite a bit of Delft (natch).

James Dray you can fit a lot of butter in there.

Brian England that is definitely one of my favourite pieces.

Nina Hollander the painting is wonderful, the mix of the very disting clear style with the impressionistic way they did the leaves on the tree I loved.

The Blue Heron definitely caught my eye, Kathy Streib I saw one flying along the creek a few days ago in between the trees, fantastic.

I love Blue Herons, they have an interesting description of their meaning in the spiritual realm as a spirit animal. Over the past few years they seem to turn up everywhere I am so I have adopted them as my spirit animal and when I saw this one at the show I was very impressed. It also has an impressive price of $28,000 and was made by C(?) Findlay Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP
