Last night I attended the Delaware Antiques Show and saw many fabulous items, below are some of my favourites, not all were crazy prices but you would need a significant wallet to pick all of these up, so which is your favourite?
Believe it or not this is carved from wood, and was beautiful. I always see Blue Herons, and have decided they are my "Spirit Animal", this is a fantastic example of carving, especially all those flared feathers.
The same dealer had this large fish, never seen one so big and the face is even smiling. I can see this hanging on a wall just about anywhere, but especially say in AZ.
This was a very large, 3 gallon stoneware butter tub. Great painting and a wonderful example.
Love this Dutch Delft vase, decorated in Japanese Imari style and form. I sold several like this in my past life to Japanese collectors.
Love this painting, the crispness of the detail mixed with the impressionist style of the leaveson the tree, delightful.
This table is English from the 18th century and is delightful with very delicate cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Wonderful patina as well and a great piece.
On the more affordable side, some great copper and brass pieces, the shapes and forms are wonderful.
Maybe my favourite item of the evening, loved this figure of Punch.
This chest is mid century but love the juxtaposition with the older pieces around it. Fits in perfectly.
Probably one of the best famille rose Chinese vases from the early 18th century I have seen
So what is your favourite?
