Here are some great comments about this Historic Event shared by Viewers
The Radio station "S" on Bainbridge Island in Washington state, played a substantial role in breaking the Japanese Naval code. So much so that about ten years ago I spent two days transporting a Japanese film crew around the island and especially Fort Ward and Battle Point, the locations of the U.S. Navy's installations. My grandfather was working for U.S. Naval Intelligence and was the executive officer of the radio school at Fort Ward. The Japanese saw Bainbridge Island's contribution to the American war effort as being significant enough to warrant sending a film crew to document the base and interview a couple of still living code breakers. But very few people, in this country at least, will ever know its significance.
I really enjoyed it must see the movie now!
