Are you out of business? Real estate agents are never out of business. What agents must do is decide to remove all the negative misinformation unproductive agents have provided. That’s the information that is creating a barrier between agents and new business. It’s new business that will find YOU, the agent, if you make good decisions.
I’m a firm believer in Open House events to expose a property, and reap results that equate to money in the future. There are many results, and we’ve previously discussed them to the Nth degree.
Of all the positive results, selling the subject property is the least to occur, unless it’s “PRICED TO SELL.” If that’s the case, you won’t have enough time to have an open house event, unless you defer showing until a future date.
The most frequent result is securing a buyer client or another listing. The latter happens most frequently for us because they like our marketing materials and the way we present the property. It’s an interview, but you already know that.
The purpose of this post is to encourage you to get up off the chair; get out of the office; and meet people. I NOW have another wonderful source for meeting people.
Work on a local political campaign. If you run the campaign for someone, you have made a score. The exposure is wide ranging and providing online marketing for the candidate trumps all of it.
Contacting people you have not seen for years to plant signs in front yards works wonders. Get noticed. Be visible. Most importantly, WIN. If you win, you made a score. We won, and now my candidate is on the Town Council.
I’m now deciding on whose campaign I’ll work for the November 2020 election. I think the new Sheriff of Norfolk County in MA will be my choice. I’d love to do that, since my grandson is a Deputy Sheriff there.
Just another marketing thought for the moment…..
