Grateful For Gorgeous Weather in Phoenix!

Grateful! Grateful! Grateful!  I am so grateful for our weather being absolutely gorgeous from  the middle of October to May!  This past summer actually wasn't as bad as a few summers have been weather-wise, but it still was HOT outside. Seriously, a few days it wasn't so easy going from the air conditioned car to the main door at Costco! Some days we'd say, let's skip getting groceries until early tomorrow. Even the carts were hot! Now that's HOT!  Not anymore!  I don't think twice about being out and about any time of day now!

The above photo was taken yesterday in our backyard. This tree is so full of blooms and it couldn't be any happier!  As are we, to view not only this tree, but all the other trees and plants coming back to life, full of color once again.  So grateful!!!  It's now time to move my office outside when possible. And if not possible, I can view this gorgeous tree from my office! Life is good!

Multi-Gen Outdoor/Indoor Lifestyle!

Yesterday I visited clients of mine as I wanted to see the new Casita that they're finally living in after many twists and turns with the city (another post another day). They purchased an acre+ property with a big main house for their kids and grand-kids. Their new Casita is towards the back of the property for privacy to accomodate their Multi-Gen Lifesyle.  They're retired and just don't want or need a big space anymore. They have lots more plans for the outside for all their toys.... all in good time.

She had been talking about about putting in a huge garage door as their main door to the Casita since we begin looking at properties.   And talk about a WOW!  As I was riding in his golf cart towards the Casita, the huge garage door opens up to their open concept living/kitchen area.  Spectacular! The best part was spending time with them visiting about the new casita, the process, their plans, the kids..... and.....all the while the huge garage door was wide open to the patio.  I loved it!  They are so happy to be in their new home! And that's what counts!

This is how lovely our weather is in Phoenix!  Outdoor/Indoor Lifestyle!

So I'm sure you can understand why I am in 7th heaven with our Phoenix weather now. And there's more.... Today we had a lovely lunch at Pappadeaux's Restaurant outside on the patio and ohhhhh was it awesome (both the weather and the lunch)!  Ahhhhh  I am so loving our Phoenix weather!

Anna,

Nothing like great weather to amp up one's spirit.  We have friends who own a small winery.  They live in Los Angeles, an they built a small home on the winery property, and their great room is a glass garage door overlooking the vineyards and the Santa Rita Hills.  Your casita reminded me of their home.  A

Good morning, Anna... what's not to like about living in a climate like yours. Charlotte enjoys more good weather days than bad and is typically quite sunny... it's always interesting to me when people who moved here from the midwest come back from visits in the winter saying how depressed they became after a few days for lack of sunny weather.

Hi Anna,
What a great idea to have a garage door to bring the indoors outside!  I love it.  I do love the weather and the flowering trees and plants in the Southwest during the winter.  Hopefully, I'll get down there to enjoy a little of it in January or February... and have a Happy Hour with you and the girls at Pappadeaux's.

Carol Williams I wish I would have taken the time to take better photos with the door up and down. You'd love the whole place!  It also has a huge bedroom area with a sitting area plus big closet, laundry and gorgeous bathroom. The main house is awesome as well, including the pool, basketball court, baseball throwing area etc etc.  You feel like your in the country out there but you're really in the city.  Very cool!

Good evening Anna! The southwest weather has been great here too and isn't it wonderful to have extra sunny days with lovely plants and flowers blooming too! The contrast between that sunny tree and beautiful blue sky with a spread of Lantana below is just gorgeous!

The new Casita looks wonderful and isn't it great to have clients/friends who appreciate what they have and know that their dreams are coming true because they believed in their dream and in you too. They sound like very interesting and fun people too. You really do make others happy, Anna! Any time clients open up their arms to their agent after closing is a really good sign that they are as good as family. I wish you all complete happiness!

Hi Anna:

Your thankfulness radiates from start to finish in this post...and the weather is no small thing. Some of us are blessed with better weather, at least at certain times of the year, than others. I have to say I am thankful to not have the heat you have to endure in the summers!

Hi Jeff Dowler, CRS yes indeed you're fortunate not to have the hot summers like we do!  We're headed into a bit of a 'cold snap' lOL!  Whatever that means and I know you know that!!

Hi Anna!

Yep I get that - it's been in the 50s at night..Brrrr. LOL

We are having a warm spell today - it's 80 - which is a concern for fires because it's so dry but thankfully there is no wind, at least in our area.

Good morning Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, GRI, WLS - I used to love flying once a month on Monday morning from JFK to Phoenix for the restaurant company.  Spending a week a month there I had been considering buying a second house there.  On Friday around noon I would get to Sky Harbor on a beautiful day only to realize that there were delays because of bad weather in New York.
