Happy Sunday - 11/10/19

Puppy face got my attention while driving yesterday. I was glad we made eye contact at the traffic light. He could see me, smell I was there, and I wondered what made this puppy so cute? If the light never changed, I would not have cared for this this little puppy continued to stare. Without a reasonable doubt, this puppy wanted me to smile, so I did. Happiness can be found in just another face away. Yay! I was happy!

Was it chance luck I got caught by the light or a stroke of luck puppy face wanted to put a smile on my face? What is it that makes us smile at somebodies puppy? Is it puppy love? Or just a chance to smile and break out of interrupting thoughts that pop into your head when you least expect it, always causing you to remember to do something, be somewhere, or want something. Puppy stares broke me out of my spell, totally forgetting what I was thinking and all I could do was stop, stare, and smile.

The quicksand that lies in waiting for the light to change with a cute puppy face with red floppy ears and a wet shiny nose looking back is that you can't help but smile and perhaps feel a little jealous that you're not a puppy. Puppy love is genuinely real until the horn behinds you honks and breaks the spell and your happy smile fades because of an impatient driver who has no idea what puppy love and life is really all about. Be happy!

Dogs in cars always get my attention, Patricia. I just love, love, love them. And I love how much dogs seem to enjoy their car rides... that is happiness at its purest.

Hi Sheila Anderson

It was like having a mini mental vacation!!! I did! I did! I did! I spent my time having puppy love. I think that puppy sensed I needed a smile. That cute little face could not take his eyes off me and I couldn't cast my eyes away. I know you understand. Thank you!!!

Hello Patricia - feelings can occur in mere seconds when we the circumstances come togehter. Here's to good feelings and just the right circumstances coming in your direction today and everyday.  Awareness of that possiblility can definitely make them happen on a regular basis.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - thank you for the comment.  There are times when I wonder if I communicate clearly enough(I imagine many of us feel the same at times) so it's nice to read that you felt that way.

Happy Sunday Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP Just looking at that cute face makes smile. I also get intrigue when I see puppies out of the windows, they seem sooo happy with life, haha

And  isn't that the truth, Abby Stiller - puppies love company and they like being with their owners in cars, except of course when they know you're taking them to the vet. Didn't you just want to hug this little guy and pet it? It's such a pleasure to see a doggie in the car window instead of crazy drivers who aren't looking where they should be looking, going through yellow and red lights, or texting! We have laws, but I dont think people are obeying them. I am so glad I made you smile today!

Ah,  love this moment you captured. I too can't help but smile at dogs with their heads hanging out the car window. They are so engaging and free-spirited - and sensitive all at the same time. Glad you found some puppy love during your traffic delays.

Hi Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - Any dog that makes me smile is such a pleasure to be around. Can you imagine what a wonderful world this would be if all humans innately became "engaging and free-spirited - and sensitive all at the same time," around other people and all creatures on earth wherever there was a connection? I am glad I found some puppy love and could share it here on ActiveRain. The overall responses have been great! Have a nice evening and pet Mac for me.

Puppies always make me smile, they way they squirm about wanting to say hello and are so trusting just being in the moment. Maybe that is what caught your attention. Exploring life in the right now. Love it.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - A dog with a good disposition always turns up my enthusiasm for life and makes me so happy. This one kind of reminded me of one of the muppets and I could see myself buying a stuffed animal like him too! I like your comment too! Have a nice evening.

Very sweet, Patricia. The best smiles are the unexpected ones - they show we pay attention!

Awe, thanks Lottie Kendall - Unexpected pleasures like a puppy in a car enjoying the wind in his hair is a great example of how important it is for us humans to let down our hair and just breath, smile, and love life including anything and anyone in close proximity. To live without feeling threatened. To be accepted is a love drop moment that is so sweet for sure!

May all your days be filled with puppy love and happiness.

Awwwww he is so darn cute!!  The other day I was in a store and ran into a lady with the cutest french bulldogs in her cart.  I had such fun petting them and talking with their Grandma!  She was 'babysitting' them for her daughter.  What a hoot.  I wish I would have taken a photo! Next time I will!!

Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, GRI, WLS - It isn't everyday you see a cute french bulldog in a shopping cart! That was a great opportunity for you to strike up a good conversation with the dogs grandma too! I love the fact that she told you she was "babysitting for her daughter!" She has a big heart and you do too!

It isn't everyday I see such a cute little guy with a bandanna smiling at me in the car besides me either. Oh, what a happy moment that was!!! We must appreciate these special, unexpected pleasures that came our way. May your day continue to be so happy and fun!
