This weeks report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 0.3 percent, new homes are down 3.2 percent and resale condos are up 1.4 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 20.0 percent, up 28.1 percent on condos and down 39.4 percent for new homes.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 1.1 percent and the sales volume is up 12.5 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 10.4 percent and the sales volume is up 0.0 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are down 18.5 and the sales volume is down 73.0 percent
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices down 18.8 percent and the sales volume is down 20.8 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 2.4 percent and the sales volume up 46.0 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 5.0 percent and the sales volume is down 12.8 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 3.8 percent and the sales volume is up 3.0 percent.
Wow look at the drop in sales volume in Aliso Viejo that is amazing. That is going on while the sales volume for the county is up except for new homes. We should watch and see if this is a one off.
