2019 Annual Veterans Day Military Review
Carlsbad Village on November 11th
The 11th Annual Veterans Day Military Review and parade takes place in Carlsbad tomorrow, November 11, at Maffucci Field on the campus of the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad Village (just north of the Village, off Carlsbad Boulevard). The ceremony runs from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon.
The Military Review ceremony will include the Honorary Commander of Troops and Guest Speaker, a March of the Colors, the Presentation of Command, an Inspection of the Corps of Cadets, Honors to the Nation and more.
The memorial and military review is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carlsbad and the Army and Navy Academy and is free to the public. This memorial has blossomed to become a popular event in San Diego County for honoring our armed forces.
Numerous cadets from the Army Navy Academy are expected to attend, with a special guest speaker, MG Arthur Bartell, US Army (retired).
As with any Veterans Day observance you should expect a crowd, so plan to arrive early to find the best parking on adjacent streets. Parking is also available at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church nearby at 2775 Carlsbad Boulevard across the street.
