Happy Veterans Day to those that have chosen to serve and are serving in our armed forces. We honor our Veterans and join in on the celebration in Denver!
Less than 1% of our nation is shouldering 100% of the burden of the wars in which we have been involved over the past several years. Thank you to those who have served, or are serving to allow us freedom!
There are many restaurants that are honoring our Veterans.

Good morning Joan Cox - you certainly make a good point. We no longer have a draft and memories of past wars are fading but the 1% needs to be thanked for shouldering the burden.
To be honest, I am glad that I am not shouldering any of the burdens of the wars that we have had to participate in and I definitely respect those that do, but at the same time, I don't see the need for war.
Hello Joan - the statistics help make the point that remembering how much those who have bravely served have given to those of us who enjoy being free.
