No Compromise Can Mean a Lost Sale”

We’re all done with the property we have under deposit. The seller will not repair anything that the home inspector indicated was wrong and needed to be repaired. Even worse, in a year or two we need to replace the roof, that’s probably another $10,000. We are moving on, just wanted to let you know.

Both Realtors in this transaction have asked me to do what I could to keep the buyers from rescinding, but my client has had enough and is going to move on. Unfortunately, it has now become personal between buyer and seller, which can happen.

Good morning Joe. Now the seller knows and must disclose many of the items.Probably best to repair them before he goes back to market. Time is money. Seller loses! Enjoy your day!

The longer it takes to put a deal together, the less likely it will go together.... and that's the truth!

I've seen this happen so many times. I lost one once (I was the Seller's Agent) because the Buyer's Agent INSISTED that we CERTIFY that the HVAC systems were in good working condition. We had them checked, we had them serviced, but, as we all know, the hot water heater can go out tomorrow and Seller wouldn't CERTIFY. Buyer's Agent told his Buyer to walk. What a waste.
