When It's Time for Assisted Living and Time to Sell Your Home

Transitioning from your owner occupied home to an assisted living facility is stressful enough without any added stress of selling your home to make that transitionThe Integrity Team at Integrity Real Estate Services in Idabel, Oklahoma has the experience and expertise to help you make that move as stress free as possible.

The Integrity Team members have  had family  members sell their home and move to assisted living. Our team has also been the real estate agent for clients that found themselves at that time in life when they no longer could, nor wanted to, deal with all of the responsibilities of home ownership and they were ready to sell their home and have other living arrangements.

If it's that time in life when either you or your partner need daily assistance with the daily things like cooking and cleaning plus maybe health issues necessitate someone helping with personal care, AND then factor in the burdens of home maintenance and lawn care, it's tough.  Maybe family members live close by and can help you with these things; that would be wonderrful but if you've decided it's time to sell, we're have the experience to do that.  We care about our clients and strive to help them deal with the selling part, making it as easy and pain-free as we can. We can assist with not only selling the home but can give our clients contact info for estate sales if needed, to sell furniture and personal belongings that you may not want to move. Your agent will be there from the initial visit, all the way to the closing table, ready to explain and facilitate each and every step.

I am so thankful that there are assisted living facilities to help us if we need that type of home.  Meals cooked, laundry done, cleaning, activities, social events, physical therapy, work-out equipment, trips, etc... often they have hot tubs, pools, and happening for members to interact.  Family members can make arrangements to dine with you and visit just like in your own home.  What a blessing!

AND THEN....maybe it's just that most of your family, children, and grandchildren, live somewhere else and maybe it's just time to move closer to them... we have many clients that choose to do that as they age.. the grandchildren are growing up fast and you don't get to see them as often as you would like...

Maybe it's time to let others worry about and tend to some responsibilities so you can pursue hobbies that you've not had time to before...such as photography, music, golf, fishing, crafts, etc... If it's time to make a change to a different residence, call Integrity Real Estate Service's  office at 580-212-5946 or call, Chassy Eastep, at 580-236-9414 if you would like to discuss selling your home.  There's a lot to think about and deal with, in selling a home.  This is the time to hire a professional real estate agent so you don't have to worry about that aspect of making the move.

Call me, Chassy Eastep if you have any questions about what you need to do list your home with me and let me handle that stressful part so your move can be made as stressfree as we can possibly make it.

Judi that is not an easy transition for those who are in that position, so it is great to have those who understand and can give good advice and assistance.
