CAN YOU DO IT NOW?
If you knew what food, thoughts, and feelings
did to your body, would you change your ways
On how you spend your days?
Or are you content with how you cheated
yourself over trouble, anxiety, and worry
Because you were in such a hurry?
The voice inside your head is always talking
did you listen carefully or were you unaware
Or was it perhaps, you didn't you care?
Life is for living, your thoughts do matter
are you willing to adapt to change
Do you care when you age?
If good health has more opportunities than challenges
would your efforts demonstrate value
Now or when you have to?

Everyday when I'm on ActiveRain, reading what other members write and share their life experiences, or illustrate a point I can agree with, it inspires me to be a little better. I find ActiveRain is more than just Social Media, it's culture rich and a good diet to follow. Happy thoughts always puts me in a good mood. Sometimes, someone writes something so poignant it causes me to look in the mirror at myself and inspires me with more determination to change my ways. Food for thought is a good way to start the day. This post is dedicated to Barbara Todaro who did not hide her truth and made significant changes to her body, mind, and soul. For Barbara, I shall be forever changed.
