Silverbrook Estates is a new community located on the western side of Route 93, on the north side of Kalispell near Stillwater River. It is easily accessible to both Whitefish and Kalispell. Most of the community has views of the Swan mountains in the east and the Salish mountains in the west. Silverbrook is only minutes from all the major shopping stores, Flathead Valley Community College, Kalispell's medical center and the Glacier International Airport.
Silverbrook Estates is still being developed as of late 2019. The property includes more than 50 acres of land. It will eventually be the site of more than 300 homes in the Silverbrook communities of Riverside, Creekside and the Cottages. In addition to all the homes, this area will have plenty of amenities! A clubhouse, pool, fitness center, basketball courts, tennis courts and walking paths are all planned.
As indicated in the above link to the community's official website, there are various floor plans available. Building styles include single floor ranches or ranches with a basement/bonus room. Other options are a two-story tri-level home or two-story home with a basement. In each of those categories, there are multiple floor plan possibilities.
Homes range in size from 3 to 5 bedrooms. Most lots in the community are between a quarter to a third of an acre.
The area is served by Kalispell water and sewer so private wells and septics are not needed.
Silverbrook Estates is managed by an POA or Property Owners Association. In addition, the property is covered by CCRs which are Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. Some of the specific guidelines indicate that while there are no defined constraints on numbers of pets, excessive numbers of dogs or cats are not allowed. Dogs, cats, birds and small house pets are okay. Livestock and poultry are not.
New homes must be at least 1,200 square feet in size, east of Silverbrook Drive. On the west side, they must be at least 2,000 square feet. No maximum is defined.
The community is accessible via Silverbrook Drive, from either Route 93 North or Church Drive. Roads in the development include Swede Trail, Lazy Creek Way, Werner Peak Trail, Silvertip Trail and more.
