Mike:

Just stopped by to say thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it.

The Marina Lakes home looks like a great find! I moved to Fresno from the Bay Area about 4 years ago. I love the Central Valley but I sure do enjoy getting a chance to check out my old stomping grounds.

No problem Lisa. How is Fresno in comparison to the bay area?

I think Fresno is having a more difficult time than most of the Bay Area. The Central Valley in general Modesto south to Bakersfield had a really large percentage of subprime loans, thus we have a really large percentage of foreclosures and REOs. It is making property very, very affordable. I just remind people that if you plan on treating your real estate investment like a real estate investment and not the stock market (meaning you hold it for 5 -7 years) it's a great time to buy regardless of whether values continue to drop for another 9 months. Nobody knows when we'll hit bottom but usually we know we've hit bottom when we look back 3 months and say,"Oh, that's when we hit bottom."

Thanks for letting me know about the market in fresno Lisa. Sounds like a great time to buy there too.
