Hello Charita - I'm glad to see you back. I haven't seen those 30 in 30 contests for a long time - I think they were recipe for burnout for many. This post of yours is a perfect one for November's "challenge - grateful for Active Rain!

Thanks Lottie. That's kind of a relief about the 30DCs. I was thinking that I was going to make an attempt to participate even at a minimum level just to get me start. Looking forward to catching up on your posts.
Hello Charita - fortunately there is no "time clock" to punch on ActiveRain so coming and going at various times seems to be the "right fit" as I, and so many others, know so well. Go with the flow and the mood(or when/if the moon is in proper alignment) is right...go with it. Here's to following what makes you happy....

That's exactly the approach I'm going to take Michael (doing what makes me happy). That's my life's mission.
Charita Cadenhead - good for you. ![]()
Thank goodness there is no time clock or else I'd be clocked out for good.
I know how you feel. I was very active for a long time and then pffft. Good for you for making it back, and I think the more you blog the easier it will be to keep the ball rolling.

Right Jane. I'm doing this. I just really need ot form the habit again.
Great to see you back! One of the great things about the Rain is you can adapt it to what works for you. Come and go, or be here every day, we get to pick our own paths.

Thanks Bill. I'd much rather stay and at the moment I'm focused. Wish me luck in staying focused.
Hi Charita Cadenhead, in life, things happen or don't happen, the important thing is we are the captain of the ship and get to steer it the way that makes us happy. ActiveRain is a big family and I know everyone will welcome you back with open arms.

Hi Beth. It definitely feels like I've come back home.
Hi Charita- I too am glad to see you back. I do remember the 30 in 30 challenges and they did make you want to pull your hair out. And now, I do post every day but not for anyone's benefit but my own. Post when you feel like it and it's ok when you don't!!!
Thanks Kathy. Good advice. The posting when I feel like it is kind of tricky because I always "feel" like writing. Writing has always been my thing. It's my escape. My muse. Maybe I'll start with market reports. I can't go wrong there.
Good afternoon Charita Cadenhead - I am glad that you commented on my blog. Since I have been a member starting in 2011 I have seen some blogger go and I have missed them. But I understand. Sometimes you have to re-balance.
It's all about that balance. Such is life.
I hope all is going well for you. Have a very productive November.

So far so good Roy.
