Small business is something I know and experience all the time. I live in America's best known small town where Norman Rockwell, lived, worked and embraced. My down town is only a few blocks and is essentially the same as it was 100 years ago.

In every season there is something to do but everything is small. Shopping is easy and people are known. On November 30th many find small businesses in their community to patronize. I do it every day.

All of the surrounding town are different but all have small businesses. No malls here. So get out and shop on Saturday but I am able and do everyday.

I always prefer to support local small businesses whenever possible. I struggle between supporting local at higher prices and being budget-conscious. It's becoming more and more of a dilemma for me
