Reciprocated Love during Thanksgiving. There’s never a better feeling!
Grankids – With Facetime, What’s App, Skype, Viber and other on-line video chat applications, we get to see our family often. In our case, it’s daily. A wonderful way of keeping up with the ‘younguns’ and family (Some countries ban this type of communicating).
In this very busy day to day life, video chatting is a great way to stay in touch.
Almost every night, we are able to “help” tuck the grand children in bed. Much of the time, they also reciprocate love by contacting us when they awaken!
A few nights ago, we were on line vid chatting with our 8 months old grandson.
He looked at their screen on the otherside and gave out a BIG open mouthed smile, with NO TEETH! Now, THAT’S reciprocated LOVE!
When our 3.5 year old grand daughter gets on line, there’s NO STOPPING her talking. She even knows how to call and hang up! To me, that’s SHEAR LOVE! She talks about her day’s activities, what she has eaten, what she has done, what her friends have done, what mommy and daddy have done, on and on and on!
You have to appreciate the fact that you can connect via WiFi without cables. There used to be a time when people had to DIAL a phone or be on a PARTYLINE!
Then, at another part of the island, we are able to talk to our 13 year old grandson, who is proud of his Ju Jitsu awards (the shortest one). He even tells me about his computer games, how to set up our WiFi and Cat5 lines and more!
This Holiday, our daughter, son in law and children will travel to his boyhood home in Kona, Hawaii for a visit. We will have a Thanksgiving day with our son and his family about 25 miles from our home. Reciprocated Love!
