When living in a urban setting, such as LA, surrounding yourself with nature could be a bit challenging at times, however, if you look carefully, you'll find little gems spread throughout the city of LA!
If looking for a quick day hike, it's worth checking out Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, located in Culver City, CA. Parking here can be a bit tricky (and you have to pay unless you park along the street), but the turnround time at this park is fairly quick. This for sure is a park that provides more of workout stage vs strolling (which you could do that as well). However, the view you get when at the summit, is pretty sweet!
