Thank God for Little Boys...Snips & Snails & Puppy Dog Tails
Those who know me, know my family is the center of my life - second only to my faith!
My boys are 18 months apart and they have been the apples of my eye since the day each of them were born. Matthew (on the right) is the oldest and he embodies everything an older child typically does - he's very independent and has the biggesst heart of anyone I know. In his short, albeit 31-year lifespan, he's gone from a painfully shy introvert to a social butterfly. My husband and I often joke that we can't shut him up - but, because we know how far he's come, we don't even really try!
It's so hard to believe how quickly time has flown by - it really seems like just a couple of years ago, we were sitting in the floor building crazy projects with Legos! He has grown into a wonderful young man and will be 32 his next birthday (in 2020).
*Yes, both of my boys are tall - all of us over 6' tall. For reference, I am 5'13"!!

Ryan, on the left, is my 30-year old baby and yes, he embodies the yougest child's qualities - always! He knows that if he needs a shoulder, he calls me. He has always been incredibly social, athletic and the life-of-the-party kind of guy! He knew what he wanted to do, went off to college for it and graduated with degrees in business & marketing.
He promptly took a job in recruiting and has never looked back - go figure! He was recruited and accepted a fabulous position at a recruiting firm in Uptown Chicago. He loves what he does and we are so very proud of his values and incredible kind heart that is full of faith.
I'm so very thankful for both of my boys - I'm thankful for a wonderful relationship with each of them and who we are as a family. We are always comfortable being honest with one another and we laugh SO much together - at each other and at ourselves too!
