State Wide Realty Suggests:

5 Ways to Show You're Thankful

Send a card/write a note: The tradition of writing cards and notes may appear to be a thing of the past, but when you take the time to tell someone how much you appreciate them, it still makes an impact. Make the note personalized about why you are grateful. For example Dear Julie, the pie you made for my family and I was not only delicious but made us reminisce of pies we have had from years past. This shows the person you are truly invested in what you are saying and not just signing a card with someone else’s words.

Make a gift: There are tons of ideas on social media about DIY crafts that you can make and give to someone as a thank you. This doesn’t have to break the bank for instance you can make someone a paper fan and give it to them because they are so cool.

Pay a visit: Of course, if the person lives too far away this isn’t an option unless you do a virtual visit through the internet or a cell phone app. But if the person lives near then dropping by to talk to them and making that time will definitely show you appreciate them.

Pay it Forward: Being kind to others as someone was kind to you is not only the golden rule but makes you feel good as well.

Gratitude as Your Attitude: This will ensure that you take time to remember not to take anything or anyone for granted.
