November Weather in Tempe AZ

I hadn't seen hail in Tempe AZ since maybe 2011.

When the hail started pounding on our roof,  I grabbed the camera to snap a photo of the rare phenomenon. A lot of other people were doing the same and posting on NextDoor - a whole street covered in little white spheres.

They were melting quickly, as you can expect.

We went through all of October and most of November with sunny skies and absolutely no rain.  However, drops are beginning to fall here in Sacramento, and a winter storm is moving in.  It's going to keep 5 members of my family from traveling to my home from Reno, for Thanksgiving dinner.

Hi Steffy,  we have had 2 hail storms in PA recently (during a nice Spring day even!) so I know the shock of seeing it.. but even more so in Tempe AZ!!!
