Credit Score v. Rate

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart Realty West & Florida Realty Investments CA01938972, FL BK3090225

I constantly receive inquires from prospective mortgage prospects and the first question from them is typically, "What is the rate?"

There are so many other factors that need to be considered before making any sort of decision on a mortgage loan.

Many Real Estate agents follow suit on this. Please do yourself a favor and let your Mortgage Professional field these inquiries.

It could mean the difference on making or losing a sale and buyer prospect!

Sandy and Norm the online rates for lenders also normally include one point, that is one of the reasons why they will show a lower rate, however, most borrowers want a zero point rate, so it will be higher.

So true, George Souto and when we point out the differences, we are doubted by these folks...until they start reading the fine print and disclaimers. There is no such thing as a 'Free Lunch' and the New World has already been discovered.
