Use QR code stickers on offline marketing surfaces

We wrote about our favorite way to solve the "empty flyer box problem" using SMS text code stickers that are available for your listings on RealBird

Another great way to online enable your offline advertising surfaces (letters, flyers, boxes, sign riders etc.) is using QR codes. We have been providing QR codes for your listings sites for many years, but now that both Android and iPhones are supporting scanning these codes and consumers know what they are, it's a good time to revisit. While SMS text code stickers capture leads right away, QR codes can be also used to make sure that 24x7 propety information is provided for consumers at offline marketing locations.

Every time you publish a listing on RealBird, a QR code image is generated for you automatically. This is pretty common feature nowadays and it's definitely a must have in our opinion.

But did you know that you can also buy QR code stickers quickly and easily via RealBird. If you scroll down on the listing marketing page after adding or editing a listing in the RealBird member area, there is a link that reads "Buy small QR sticker". You will be able to get a personalized sheet of QR code stickers linking to your listing via Zazzle, for only $6.30 + S&H

Here is an example, courtesy of Janie Coffey. You can of course attach the stickers to any surface (including a flyer box or a sign rider), but we found this envelope sticker approach nice as well. This is just an example, but the QR code is actually live and points to Janie's listing on RealBird. If you are on your desktop, give it a try: Use your phone's standard camera and scan the code below.

How to get your own QR code stickers:

  1. Sign up with or log in to RealBird.com
  2. Publish your listing - takes only a few minutes
  3. On the property marketing page, scroll down to the QR code section and click "Buy Small QR code sticker"
  4. Complete the order on Zazzle. The stickers are automatically prepopulated with your own listings QR code and address.

What do you think? Will you use QR code stickers for your marketing?

p.s. Should you perfer a heart shaped QR code sticker, there is an option for that too. See the example below ♥♥♥

You could also create stickers for a weekend open house list or other niche preset searches. There can be various great innovative scenarios besides using it for your own listing. As long as you can use them on places with foot traffic, or even at your office's waiting room. The RealBird open-house sign in form landing page also has a corresponding QR code generated, so people can use that RealBird tool to sign in at open houses on a tablet, with SMS code messaging and also with the QR code and their mobile phone.
