This is my first Thanksgiving without my Geno. Thanksgiving means a special occasion to our family because it's a time to express our sincere thanks for all our blessings. Paw Paw will be missed leading our prayer before dinner, making the gravy and dressing and contributing to the over all festive atmosphere with his witty remarks and bantering with everyone.
There will be new traditions made and I will rejoice in the rich fabric of family and friends which holds me safe, and grateful, at a time like this.
