Getting back to work and life in Naperville after Thanksgiving...

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential

Good morning!!

I woke this morning to a fresh dusting of snow…

Barely enough to count as snow. It will all melt away as soon as the temps rise above freezing in just a couple of hours…

However still enough to startle me just a bit. Wake me from my deep slumber. Change my attitude just enough…

Still out of town at my sister’s home in Roscoe, Illinois, my girls and I have enjoyed our two day little get away…

The house is still quiet. Everyone is still asleep, however my Dad did pop his head in the kitchen for just a moment…

Where did he go? I hope me and my computer didn’t scare him away?

We have spent the last two days giving thanks. Spending time with our family. Eating food. Watching movies…

This afternoon we will be driving back to Naperville…

What is going on back at home? Have things changed?

Certainly there is work to be done back home. There are appointments to be made. I have home buyers wanting to see homes tomorrow, which is a good sign for my business…

Thanksgiving weekend is often slow for real estate, so it will be good to be back out working…

Showing homes. Perhaps selling one? A young couple not yet married wants to find their perfect first home, and I have an opportunity to be a part of that…

I have enjoyed my little two day vacation. Getting away. Changing the scenery. Mixing it up. Two days that brought family together like only holidays such as Thanksgiving do…

But I am ready to go home. To return to “normal” life. To get back to business…

For there is work to be done, and I am excited to do it…
