Warm Cookies Anyone? Tiff's Treats Opens Store #2 in Uptown
How long would you wait for an ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookie? A customer in Arlington, Texas holds the 26-hour record for waiting in line for Tiff’s Treats’ cookies!
“I doubt anyone is going to break that here [in Charlotte],” said Leon Chen, Tiff’s Treat’s co-owner,” but it’s so common for people to wait an insane amount of time.”
On December 7 - yesterday, Tiff’s Treats opened its second location in Uptown Charlotte! The first location opened in Waverly in August.
Customers may purchase just-baked chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies – $2 for one dozen — at the grand opening. Tiff’s keeps the menu simple, offering cookie flavors your mom made wot a flavor a week, a seasonal variety and always chocolate chip & snickerdoodles. The regular menu includes chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, sugar, peanut butter, M&M, chocolate chip pecan, peanut butter chocolate chip, oatmeal chocolate chip and white chocolate chip & almond cookies. At the grand opening on Monday, Dec. 7, mint chocolate chip is the seasonal variety and will be available through Christmas. YUM!
You will also enjoy a Blue Bell ice cream and Tiff’s brownies, a Tiffwich (ice cream sandwich with 2 warm cookies and vanilla ice cream), the Tiffblitz (ice cream bended with chunks of chocolate chip cookies and fudge brownies…and topped with crumbled sugar cookies). Did we say YUM?!
The newest item on the Tiff’s Treats menu is Tiff’s Trio - 3 decadent brownies: a chocolate brownie, a salted caramel blondie & a peanut butter chocolate bar brownie. As well, this holiday, Tiff’s Treats will be offering a Take-and-Bake cookie kit featuring Tiff’s Treats’ classic chocolate chip cookie dough balls, freshly mixed and frozen. These delights will be at the read ready for baking when unexpected guests arrive or for a quiet night at home.
All items can be picked up at either location (Uptown included after December 7) or have them delivered to your front door!
Tiff’s Treats’ owners, Leon & Tiffany Chen have been business partners in the cookie delivery business for 20 years and are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year.
TIFF’S GIVES BACK
Tiff’s Treats’ grand opening will benefit a charitable organization in the Charlotte community. Like the opening at Waverly Walk in August, the funds will benefit Special Olympics Mecklenburg County. $5/dozen sold will be donated to the Special Olympics Mecklenburg County, up to $5,000. Bring a new regulation basketball to donate and receive a $5 Tiff’s Treats gift card.
“The funds will go toward our winter basketball program, which serves over 485 athletes in our school-based and community-based programs,” said Special Olympics Mecklenburg County director Greg Morrill.
Tiff’s Treats, who originated in Austin, Texas, officially now has 57 stores in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee & Texas. Even more exciting (for my fellow SouthPark residents and me!), a 3rd Charlotte store is scheduled to open in SouthPark in 2020.
