In Minnesota we don't stay indoors when it's cold and Christmas time is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Holidazzle is a wonderful event to visit during the Christmas season. My husband, St Bernard and I hit the opening of this special event and it really was like walking in a postcard.

There are numerous tents with hand crafted items for sale, Christmas music, a beer garden and an ice skating rink. Grab a hay bale and hot chocolate and watch a movie.

The night we attended they had Fireworks and it was spectacular.

Check out Holidazzle if you can. If  time allows, stroll down Nicollet Mall to see the vintage Dayton's windows. Our Saint Bernard loved the Santa Bear display!

Hi Shar, what a treat it is to get a glimpse of Minneappolis during the Christmas holiday season and your St. Bernard too!!! Your dog must be so lovable and I'll bet everyone passing your dog on the streets can help but strike up a conversation with your beautiful St. Bernard!

Over the years, I have met many people from Minnesota and never once met a Grinch or Grouch. There must be something in the northern snow and air that makes people from your state happy, bubbly, and warm hearted too.

Oh that is so sweet Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP . We have a saying here in Mn called "Minnesota Nice". I'm glad everyone you have meet from here has shown that. I will say we do have our share of Grouchs though.


Hazel definitely gets a ton of attention when she is out with us which is most of the time. She has her own facebook and instagram page if you want to follow along on all her adventures. @HazelsBigAdventures
