Living in Colorado, we always hear some funny sayings that do hold true when you live in Colorado ---
1. You always know which direction is West. (the mountains never move)
2. You're always waiting for the moment your entire state erupts into wildfires every June through August.
3. The snow stopped, so you then see some people wearing shorts and hiking boots.
4. The need to shovel to get to the BBQ grill, no matter what time of year it is.
5. You struggle to figure out which brewery to meet friends at --- there are so many to choose from!
6. You were always jealous of Jake Jabs, as he got to play with the tigers in the American Furniture commercials.
7. Denver just had 5 inches of snow, and it is a normal day.....school is still in, still need to go to work....lives goes on, no biggie!
8. You have no accent at all, but can hear other people’s.
9. You know you’re from COLORADO if: "Humid" is over 25%. It's MUGGY!
10. You actually know that South Park is a real place not just a show on TV.
11. You know what a 'trust fund hippie' is, and you know its natural habitat is Boulder.
12. A bear on your front porch doesn't bother you, or deer laying in your front yard.
13. If it rains more than 2 days straight you compare the weather to being in Seattle.
14. You go for a walk in the neighborhood, and smell a "skunk". NOPE, just pot!
15. When people out East tell you they have mountains in their state too, you just laugh.
Some of these you will only chuckle if you live here, and you KNOW.
