Tuesday's Treasures ~ Last Longhorn Football home game

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker United Realtors® ~ 512.750.6899

Friday after Thanksgiving the Longhorns played their last game at home against the Red Raiders. I think Texas Tech forgot what "Guns Up" meant. The Longhorns soundly beat them 49-24!

Before I left for the game I made sure our Texas Flag was proudly displayed in front of our house.

Geno and I use to go to all the games and still hold season tickets that our children now use. You don't dare give them up! It's been years since I sat in our seats and it was bittersweet. I see why the kids want to hold on to these seats.

It was drizzling but not cold, so am glad the family made the effort to go. Even the grand-kids made it. Our two oldest grand-daughters (from NYC and San Diego now) saw lots of their friends.

Even Handsome Hudson made it and enjoyed every play!

The final score said it all!

You all look fantastic - I can imagine that it was a great game - Boston College (my husband and daughter went there) fired their coach on Sunday - my husband was so upset that he called the Athletic Director at BC to complain!   We apparently take football very seriously in our house!

LSU football was the fabric of our lives. I went to the games since I was 6 years old.  An incredible 12-0 season, led by a Louisiana born and bred Cajun has been so much fun to watch. It's not over yet. #geauxtigers

Well it looks like you love your long horns as much as we love our TN VOLS.  my sons have 4 season passes so we rotate on who gets to go to what game.  Looks like many memories were made and a fun time for all.

Hello Dorie - while I am not a fan I am aware of the importance of holding on to those seasonal tickets for many.  Judging from the smiles and happy faces plus the winning score, it looks like another successful outing.

A fun day with the family.  I missed the football gene, but not the good-times-with-family gene.

HI Dorie- I love to go to a college football game and I am so happy that you have kept your season tickets. I remember going with my uncle and aunt to Rice games way back when.

Morning Dorie.

I've only been to one college and one pro football game, with both of them it was raining and cold.  Don't know that I will ever attend another one
