A surprisingly great marketing tactic - and for a good cause!

Hi Everyone!

I do a lot of non-profit work here in Little Rock, AR. Probably more than I should...but that's ok.

I recently helped plan the Silent Auction for an event supporting an organization called Women and Children First. I wanted to do something for the silent auction, but since not everyone needs "Home Staging" I decided to donate 3 hours of de-cluttering and organizing. I made up a nice flyer saying how I was the owner of a Home Staging company, etc. by my item for that night.

I had NO CLUE what to expect. I was VERY SURPRISED to have a Real Estate Agenct purchase this! I had no clue that would happen, but it was sure cool. They emailed me the NEXT day, excited about some help with their organizaing projects around the house and they also mentioned that they hoped to refer me to clients and peers. And this guy is no small potatoes. He has been around forever!

How cool is that? So the next time someone bugs you for an item or donation for a Silent Auction, don't brush it off! If you have a little extra time (I know - what's that?), donate an hour or two of de-cluttering and organizing!

You may be surprised of the outcome!!

Hi Amber

It is always amazing to me what opportunities arrive out of different places.  When you help some one  you always receive back.  Good luck to you.
