Hosted by the Ballantyne Arts Center and the Morrison Family YMCA, the free Ballantyne Arts Center Holiday Festival is a hit with kids and takes place from 10:00 am till noon. It includes cookie painting, holiday art, a bounce house, face painting, music, gingerbread playdough, glow party. Location: 11318 North Community House Road.
Ballantyne Village Holiday Spectacular: December 7
After spening the morning at the Ballantyne Arts Center Holiday stival, why not head over to spend the afternoon at Ballantyne Village at its Holiday Spectacular from noon till 3:00 p.m. Activities include photos with Santa, cookie decorating, reindeer ornament crafts, train rides, bounce house and face painting. Santa Photo Experience at Blakeney Shopping Center:
December 7-8, 13-15, 20-22
The Santa Photo Experience at the Blakeney Shopping Center is an annual treat for Ballantyne families. Fridays the photo experience is from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Saturdays it's from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm and Sundays from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm. Pricing is $20 for a 5×7 photo and $30 for a USB Stick with all photos. Santa's Craft Fair: December 7
Hosted by St. Matthews Catholic Church and considered one of Charlotte's premier craft shows, the 14th annual Santa's Craft Fair will take place from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm. 100+ vendors will be offering original, one-of-a-kind items and unique gifts! Happy Feet Dance Production: December 13 - 17
Morrison Dance Performing Company proudly presents, Happy Feet: Find Your Heart Song. Come get "cool in the cold" with Mumble, our penguin posse and other fun characters. Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run: December 14
The Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run is the original festive race for charity. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume and FEEL GOOD about DOING GOOD. 100% of the registration fee goes to the foundation. They will provide the blank canvas gingerbread house, construction materials (icing and candy) and teach you how to assemble and decorate your gingerbread house.
