Average Ballantyne home sale prices increased 8.3% in November 2019 compared with the same month one year ago to $414,266. Median home sale prices increased 4.8% to $361,500. Home sellers received 98% of list price in final sale price. November was the sixth  consecutive month we saw an increase in home sale prices year-over-year.

Ballantyne homes continue to sell quickly with Median Days on Market just 13 days, down 9 days compared with one year ago. Average Days on Market were down 6 days compared with one year ago to 37 days. Average Price Per Square Foot increased by $17/square foot to $162 in November 2019 compared with one year ago.

Closed sales decreased 6.3%, while pending sales were up 15.1% in November year-over-year in the Ballantyne area.

Ballantyne's months supply of homes remained low at 1.3 months (down from 2.5 months one year ago and 1.6 months in October 2019). This coupled with a 44.3% drop in housing inventory and a drop of 9.2% in new listings in November no doubt impacted closed sales in November and kept Charlotte’s Ballantyne area/28277 zip code housing market a seller’s market.

Wayne Martin good morning, Wayne... razor thin is a great way to describe out inventory in Ballantyne. This is about as low as I've ever seen it... and if you look at inventory of townhomes and more modestly priced homes, it drops even further.
