The newlywed period is over.
You listed your home for sale and things just aren't working out the way you expected with the listing agent.
Perhaps you were promised things that didn't happen for marketing your home.
Maybe the pictures are horrible and despite repeated requests nothing gets changed.
You realize your home isn't advertised everywhere you expected it to be.
Or you're watching every other home in your community go under contract and yours just sits there.
Or maybe you've fallen victim to sign in the yard and your agent has become a no-see-um agent, with no updates at all.
Or maybe it's none of the above, you just don't have a good feeling about things and want to make a change.
Bottom line, you just want your home sold.
But you signed a contract to sell your home, so you're in a legal agreement with a set ending date.
Now as an agent on the outside I might see some things that could be done better. Improved pictures. Data entry errors that make your home invisible (the garage of 0 instead of 3 cars, the five acre home with 0.0 acre lot size, etc.). Better attention placed on the key features of your home. Maybe you're in the WRONG MLS system for the majority of buyers in your area. The list goes on, but I can't tell you anything about any of this because to contact you would be an ethical violation because I'd be doing what's called "crossing the sign".
HOWEVER, I can talk to you if you initiate the contact. I can't interfere with your existing contract (and whether the broker will let you out of your contract early is between you and that brokerage), but I can talk to you about the services I can offer once you're no longer under contract with another brokerage IF and only IF you initiate the contact.
