5 Good Movies *Kinda* About Real Estate

It's the holiday weekend. Hopefully you are finding a way to relax, and spend time with family. If you don't want to fall into a slump when you get back, you can maybe put on a movie that is kinda about real estate. That way, you are still in the "10 days to hit my end of year goals" mindset - but you can have a little fun too.
 
Note: These are only movies I have personally watched - so films like The Big Short and The Burbs did not make this list.

Here are 5 movies to watch, that are somewhat about real estate:

1. The Conjuring

This one is a personal favorite of mine. It's about a family who bought a new house who immediately have buyer's remorse. It's great because it opened the door to a horror film-universe with mostly good films that elaborate on story telling and character development.

2. Step Brothers

This is another personal favorite. A classic starring John C. Reily and Will Ferrell about two 40+ year old single men still living with their parents. After their parents get married, they decide to sell the house. That's the extent of it being related to real estate. It's hilarious though.

3. You've Got Mail

If you feel like watching a cheesy rom-com, then this one is for you. It mostly deals with commercial real estate though. A big store is being built next to a smaller competiting store. It contains fun references to America Online, chatrooms, and other relics of the past.

4. I Love You, Man

A feel good raunchy comedy about a REALTOR® starring Paul Rudd. You've probably seen the widely inappropriate billboards on Facebook. It's about a man who is getting married, but has no friends so he gets a stranger to be his best man.

I have seen just one of these movies mentioned and heard about one additional of the four.  Did I miss number five?

Hi Zurple Marketing Team,  Nice movie list.  I have only seen two of those listed.  I'm not sure what would be considered a movie about real estate.  I'll have to think about that.
