Winter, spring, summer or fall, Edwards greenhouse is open! Right now they have beautiful forced bulbs and poinsettias. They also have an area where you can bring a picnic and enjoy the festive ambience when it is too cold to picnic outside. They even have an indoor yoga class in the greenhouse. Edwards covers several acres. In the spring there are greenhouses full of beautiful rose bushes in almost every variety, trees, flowers, bushes, annuals, perennials, starts, veggies. Just a great place to be. I bought most of my planting there this spring including 2 spectacular rose plants and some dahlias. They also have experts that can advise you on how and when to plant your new friends.
My own pet project is forcing bulbs to gift to friends, relatives and clients. I think they will be ready after Christmas and Hanukkah!
