Transport yourself to a wintry realm at the Hawaii Convention Center were the staff has launched their most ambitious event to date in celebration of the Holiday Season. It’s time to pull out the ugly Christmas sweater and give it some mileage while you skate through the Holidays on an 82-by-50-foot rink has been installed in the Hawaii Convention Center’s exhibit hall for Winter Wishes—A Holiday Festival. The ice rink is the centerpiece of the Festival, surrounded by a Christmas tree forest, a setting for photos with Santa, a keiki craft area and a holiday marketplace with a large collection of local vendors.
A portion of the event’s proceeds, including admission fees and $10 skate rentals, will benefit literacy in local schools through Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation.

A portion of the proceeds from “Winter Wishes – A Holiday Festival” will benefit the foundation’s work in Hawai‘i.
“Winter Wishes – A Holiday Festival” will be open from 4–9 p.m. during Mondays–Thursdays, 4–10 p.m. on Fridays, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sundays from Now until Dec. 24, 2019 (hours subject to change). Parking is available for $10 per vehicle at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. Tickets may be purchased online at honoluluboxoffice.com or at the door. Passes for the entire season will also be available for purchase. Children ages 2 and under are free, and special discount days will be offered.
