Some days you just can't seem to be witty. At my house we have been suffering while our youngest son completes his PhD. D. orals. Even I have lost sleep as I watch him work 16 hour days trying to complete an unpleasant task. This has been going on for over a month. The paper has now been submitted and he has a date to take his oral exam. When he completes this he is officially a doctoral candidate in computer science at a State University. Here is hoping he passes. Now I just tread water. Keeping body and soul together and trying support him.
