Behr Color of the Year 2020

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

Color is soooo subjective...this year. like most, there is a lot of diversity in the shades chosen to usher in the new decade.  Behr Paint has chosen a shade that they are calling "Back to Naure."  A pale green with a lot of behr retun to batureyellow influence. Soft and more subtle than some of the bolder blues we have seen selected by others who are well known in color selection.

They are suggesting that it can be used on walls or woodwork. It comes in both interior and exterior paint and can compliment many other colors. If you have plants...or for the less green thumbed...silk ....greenery in your home, you likely have some interpretation of this "Back to Nature" shade already in your decor.

This completes our colorful series that will brighten the new decade in whatever way you choose to compliment and contrast color in 2020.

This post has been brought to you by Sally K. & David L. Hanson, wishing you a colorful and wonderful 2020 and honored to be serving southeastern Wisconsin in all things real estate in southeastern Wisconsin.

Good morning, Sally and David... I will say that I like the Behr color of the year a whole lot more than the Pantone color of the year. I once had my bedroom painted in a very similar color and I loved it.

Hello Sally and David - ahh, such a fascinating topic and one that is explored in so many ways.  Definitely a personal decision.  It's a commitment that shouldn't be taken lightly...

Sally and David,

Not my cup of tea, actually it looks like a cup of tea.  I am sure many will love it, like with everything else, it is a matter of taste.  A

It's a good color. Yet, I'm not sure I will rush out and buy a gallon. Color is such a personal decision and a huge commitment. Thanks for sharing.

Good morning, Sally K. & David L. Hanson (sally)... I like that color for an interior paint much more than the blue color from ( I think it was) Sherwin Williams ...

Good morning Sally K. & David L. Hanson - that color certainly conveys a totally different mood from the Benjamin Moore Blue.

So many colors ... oh, oh ... I'm getting dizzy.  It's too much ...

I should just stick to the rainbow and I'm covered.

Funny that Pantone's color is blue and Home Depot chooses green! That's so strikingly different but, I prefer the green!

It seems like light shades of green aren't going away.  Maybe one year they'll come up with something completely different.
