One of the many reasons I joined my new brokerage was the idea that we give back to the community. When I joined I promised $20 of every commission check to the John L. Scott Foundation. This year we gave to the St. Luke's Children's Hospital!
This is a worthy charity that helps sick children stay in Idaho. They have a special hospital just for children, plus they just built the Elks children's pavilion! Follow this link to donate.
In return for our contribution we were given a tour of the brand new pavilion. This is a series of doctor's offices, a parent's quiet work area, a siblings area and a gentler concept for the patients. It is connected by a skyway to the children's hospital. Here are some pictures from our tour!
