WARNING!!!!!  These are real MLS photos!!  I am always amazed at the idea that any picture is better than no picture.  I half-agree with it now since I have been seeing the stuff I am about to post here.  This should be fun to do---please send up in THIS blog any pics you think are the WORST of the WORST......it is not a new idea however I think it is a great idea!!  So I will start off with these babies!  KUDOS to www.veryvintagevegas.com and www.reagentinct.com for starting us off with a bang..SEND UP YOUR PHOTOS PEOPLE!!

Too funny.....

I'm wondering what agent would even take these and expect the pics to attract buyers.

I've seen some bad ones but these may be some of the worst...maybe not.

David- I hate to be a spoil sport, but I don't think you should encourage anyone to post others MLS pics.  It could lead to nasty confrontations - copyright law, ethics, etc.

I do agree with you, however, that some of the pictures, agents publish, seem to be saying "I'm a Mess!! Don't buy me!!

We've seen some real winners over the past 5 years.  We try to crop or clean up photos for our clients whenever we can, but sometimes it's just not possible!   I wish I could find the one where the living room walls were lined with mounted Deer Head!  (and a few fish!)

Low Maintenance Backyard?  Gently sloping backyard...what do you say about this one??

 

Check out this Wall Paper!!  Imagine looking at this every morning!  I would have left this photo off the MLS and the flyer - but the agent wanted it!

HAHAHA!   Yup amazingly the amount of listings without pics are staggering throughout the country, which leads to another issue clients have with agents in general.  They are NOT worth the commission they charge.  Why is a Mercedes more expensive than a Saturn?  Then why would sellers accept a 6% deal from a Saturn agent if the Mercedes agent is the same deal?  Like I have said alot of times before...sellers many many times make the decisions for an agent for all of the wrong reasons and consequently the lower totem pole of agents get a reprieve to stay in the biz dumbing it down as always. Pathetic I'd say.

Here's a good one...notice the mold on the lower right corner.  Why would you take a picture of a half open garage. I later heard that the door is broker.  This business is getting easier.

THANKS!  Sheryl we appreciate all accolades !  BTW........let me give all agents some seriously disconnected information.  Over 90% of consumers go to the net to find their house.  Over 68% click on Virtual Tours and properties with more than 6 pics ONLY!  But !!! and that's a BIG BUT, the most astonishing fact..........only 4% of all listings have virtual tours.  WHAT IS GOING ON HERE????  And those are not current market numbers people ----these are numbers from 2005-06.  Ask N.A.R.  And while I am on the subject,  do NOT bother with the cookie cutter cheap so-called virtual tours (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) unless you relish making your clients property look sub-par hence getting fewer and cheaper offers. If you have not seen the TourFactory Marketing Engine you are not being the pro your clients deserve.  Anything less than TourFactory is money down a black hole.

OK DAVID TELL US WHAT YOU REALLY THINK!  LOL
