Yesterday in tying up some loose ends, I heard this song, “I Believe Most People Are Good” again on the radio and realized how much it is connected to life’s interactions.
I believe most people are good. By having this attitude, one enters all interactions including real estate with a positive attitude.
Sure there are what I have always called “bugger butts.” These are the “Negative Nellies” and no matter what you do, they believe it isn’t enough and want more. They drain your energies, your emotions and ultimately your passion if you allow it.
This next line of importance is “Ain’t nothing you should ever be ashamed of.” If you live a life of honor and adherence to your positive core values, you truly will never be ashamed of your actions. In real estate the Code of Ethics helps us stay the course of not being ever ashamed.
With all the angst in the world much it being promoted self-serving agendas, this statement of “I believe this world ain’t half as bad as it looks” also rings true.
If you have a solid work ethics, you would believe “that streets of gold are worth the work." And being here in the high desert of NW AZ and spending part of my childhood on a farm in northern Wisconsin, I can relate to “But I still wanna go even if they were paved in dirt.”
Many of us can agree with “I believe if you just go by the nightly news; Your faith in all mankind would be the first thing you lose.”
With the New Year on the horizon, “I believe that days go slow and years go fast.” As we walk closer to that vanishing point on the horizon we may indeed believe “And every breath’s a gift, the first one to the last.”
Yes I believe most people are good. By having this belief, will make each day better than the day before.
Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with incredible peace and abundance.
