Recycle your live Christmas trees for free beginning Monday, December 30th through, Thursday Jauary 23rd if you live within Charlotte city limites. Recycled trees are considered organic and will be turned into useful mulch for sale. But keep in mind that the tree is only organic if it’s stripped down to its original form, which means removing all the lights, ornaments and tinsel.
