Chinese Lantern Festival Through Jan. 5 

Guests will experience a unique light display inspired by nature. Stunning, bigger and brighter lanterns up to 30 feet high. Includes an 85-foot-wide lantern arch and 100-yard-long spectacular ceramic Chinese Dragon. Up To 50 Sets Of Newly Themed Lantern Displays. Live Chinese Folk Music and Dance Performances. Moonlight Forest - Magical Lantern Art Festival Through Jan. 12 

This year the Moonlight Forest is bigger and brighter than ever with two new themes, Polar Dreams and Ocean Visions. Step into a winter wonderland with their new Polar Dreams experience featuring playful penguins and cuddly sled dogs. Next, dive under the sea with exotic fish and giant sharks in our Ocean Visions exhibit.

Tournament of Roses Parade Jan. 1 

The 2020 theme, “The Power of Hope,” celebrates the influence of optimism and hope. Features four types of entries: floraldecorated floats entered by a participating corporation, nonprofit organization or municipality, equestrian units, bands, and Tournament Entries.

Rose Bowl Game Jan. 1 

The No. 6 Oregon Ducks, champions of the Pac-12 Conference, and the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers will face each other in the 106th Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual.

Celestial Star Party Jan. 3

Las Posadas Jan. 4

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Jan. 18 

An opportunity for the entire community to join together in the spirit of his legacy to help shape and transform the City through service. Volunteers will receive education on illegal dumping, hazardous waste and recycling, before venturing out in teams to reduce the amount of debris at their illegal disposal site to eliminate hazards that affect public health and safety.
