SIGNALS

The only person who should recognize the traffic lights
at this intersection where I waited for the lights to change is
Kat Palmiotti
Dreams. We all have dreams about what we would like to do, where we want to go, and what we would like to accomplish. On the day this photo was taken, I just left my hotel and was heading home waiting for the lights to change. The sun rose to meet me and the red lights signaled that waiting patiently is an opportunity to stop and think carefully.
Change. It is just a matter of time when we can say goodbye to 2019 and welcome in the new year. Like many people, I am carefully reviewing and adding new ideas into my 2020 goals. It's funny how just a couple of months ago I thought my goals were finished. Time can change your mind, just like scenery. Your vision becomes clearer or blurred. Change has a lot to do with timing.
Signals. Business Author, Allen Adamson wrote "It's a signal that the Internet and technology brands are becoming more interwoven into everyday life. It's moved from a specialty niche to the center of people's lives." In retrospect, there is no denying consumers are more tech savvy comprising of many Millennials, employees, students, and the self-employed who rely on technology to do business.
Move. We are always on the move. Even at traffic lights, our mind is thinking. The Internet has changed the way realtors do business and how consumers think. Since this photograph was taken, I have done a lot of thinking and learned quite a bit. Did you know, there are three types of signals that are carried from your body to your brain through your spinal cord? They are sensory, motor, and reflex. According to medical research the only difference between motor and reflex is one is voluntary; the other involuntary.
Signals do change. When it comes to real estate sales, people move either voluntarily or involuntarily. To optimize your best move between cities, states, and different locations, consumers need to hire the best in the industry. Relying on the Internet is like waiting for the lights to change when you're in a hurry. Accidents and the wrong move can happen. Moving is serious business. Choosing a real estate agent based solely on what's on the Internet is as dangerous as choosing the wrong surgeon. If you're looking to move to or from Flower Mound or the Dallas-Fort Worth area, please let me know.
