Phone Rings Less? Expand The Marketing To Existing Sites You Use

When we find a method that works, we’re on a roll. What often happens is the roll slows. It may seem as though we’re on level ground and pumping those pedals, in search of another slope or pitch to pick up speed, is usually a futile exercise.


I began to experience that and was not anywhere near changing my marketing path.  I use print marketing to make the phone ring and to maintain a “Strong Brand.” There’s that word, again!

My monthly direct mail marketing program needed something additional added to it. Print marketing is what makes the phone ring by homeowners. Listings are found offline, not online.


Having said all of that, my next step was to expand the marketing of “Each Postcard” offering a Free Market Analysis to be included in the monthly full page ad in the center of the page. That newspaper is delivered at the end of every month to every residence and business in the Town of Franklin MA.


The Free Market Analysis postcard is also found online on the team website, ActiveRain and my personal and business pages of Facebook plus the members’ business Facebook pages.  Offline is always complemented by online.


The more eyes that see every piece of marketing, the better the chance of the phone ringing. Those eyes have a memory. The more frequently those eyes see every postcard, the better the chance of them remembering us. Branding successfully is accomplished by visibility and, in turn, being remembered.


I’ve included two postcards here plus the newspaper page for October and November.  December was a Thank You and photos of all the homes (54) we listed and sold.



The improved visibility was a great advantage to us and we’ll continue with that in 2020.
