The number of home sales in the Fourth Quarter decreased by 11% compared to Fourth Quarter of 2018. The average sold price increased by 9%. Buyers purchased the same size home with a decrease of 49% on days on market.
On December 31, 2019, 2 Active and 4 Contract Pending homes were listed in the Austin MLS. According to the SOLD data in the Austin MLS there were 11% fewer homes sold in 2019 but the average sold price was up 9% on homes with similar square footage, with the average days on market of 35 days.
Fourth Quarter of 2019 shows distinctly another record for home values in Canyon Creek. Values are increasing but the number of homes sold are decreasing. If you’ve been thinking now is the time to sell you are right! Buyers have anxiously been waiting for new listings and before interest rates go up and they are out buying!
