My dad loved his cars. I always knew this but until today I didn't realize that his love of automobiles went back so far. I'm currently going through a big box of old photo's that was given to me a few years ago but never had time to look through them. I've got to clarify that dad didn't know a thing about cars... he just liked style and comfort. Here are two I found in the box. As best as I can determine the first one is from the very early 40's or late 30's and the 2nd is from the late 40's or very early 50's BUT there is a real distinction between the two of them. Can you spot it?
On the back side of the picture (above) someone had written How do you like our "limousine"? It's obvious from the dents that it is not a brand new car. On the picture below it is written on the back June 1954 "Proud Owner". BTW that would be a right after my birth and possibily a gift for my dad's birthday.
I'm not a car buff. I couldn't tell you anything about these cars other then the hints on the back of the pictures and that when I blow up the license plate on the top car I believe it says 1943 on the Minnesota plate.
When it comes to that 1st car, as I said, "It's Missing Something Simple". Distinctive BRANDING! The second vehicle has a hood ornament and a vintage car buff could tell you right away what that vehicle is just from that hood ornament.
If you are new to Real Estate and/or new to Active Rain you may have missed the importance of being distinct and the importance of branding. If you don't make yourself stand out you will never be outstanding. It's that simple. I'm not the expert on Branding so if you want to know more about branding you should be reading up on it from the experets here in the Rain, my friends Ron and Alexandra Seigel . I'm sure there are more experts here in the Rain but they come first to mind to me.
For coaching on how to be outstanding I'd recommend you read Grant Schneider 's posts.
