Do They Still Make Wallpaper?

Evidently, they do...

It would not be my first choice because I still have nightmares about trying to install wall paper in a half bathroom, many years ago.  It was and is a nightmare.

Saying this.  I never say never.  I am sure that there are areas and different types of wall paper that add to the appeal of a room to that home owner.  I love texture on a wall and some types of wall coverings are the only types of covering that can add that texture.  I recommend that you get a professional to advise you as you consider using any type of wall covering.

When it comes to the time to sell a home you need to consider that wallpaper and more permanent decorations can be overwhelming and difficult to remove. Pro tip? Stick to neutral paint colors.

This post is part of a series of ideas that I am sharing about how to prepare to sell your property for the best price and in the shortest amount of time.  This is probably one thing that we can agree upon about home sales.  I have opinions on other things but I do acknowledge that home decorating is not one of my strong suites.

There is no wall paper in my home Peter Mohylsky, Beach Expert but I remember it growing up. My mother was an excellent decorator and knew how to use it tastefully.... not little flowers on the wall as in that old Statler Brothers song.

I worked for a builder in the 90's building custom luxury lakehomes. Wallpaper was in every room.  Don't want to see that again but as they say what goes around comes around.  I am seeing it used again in new construction. Ugh!

Hi Peter- taking a cue from Michael Jacobs "it depends"   I've seen a beautiful use of wallpaper in a friend's home recently but it was chosen by their decorator and is perfect for the space.
