Southern Utah: 25 Must-Do High Desert Hikes
Welcome to southern Utah, where there's always more to explore! From the white sandstone bluffs and crimson cliffs to rock outcroppings and canyons, these adventurous playgrounds offer much to residents and visitors.
Any time of the year, you can find people out excitedly, traversing the trails. The southern Utah area offers mild winter weather, perfect for getting out. Bring a light jacket, water, sunscreen and sunglasses, you will need them.
Before setting out to conquer any trail, on any day, do the research on degree of difficulty and check the weather. Avoid the slot canyons on overcast, rainy days and always let outside parties know your location and expected return.
